The firs t motorcycle road race a t th e
new T h und erhill Park race course in
Willows, California, will be sanctioned
by the AFM on Sunday, November 6.
All classes will run with the possible
exception of Formula Pacific . The race
will serve as a tria l and points will not .
be paid. The race track is located on
H ighway 162, near the town of Willows
- roughly two hours from San Francisco.
Though w e printed the U.S. MX des
Nations team six issues ago, th e AMA
ha s finally made it official. As expected,
the squad representing the States Sep tember 11 in Roggenburg, Switzerland,
will consist of Jeff Emig on a Yamaha
YZl25, Mike Kied rowski on a Kawa saki KX250 and Mike La Rocco on a
