at Sunrise Motocross

The California Racing Club's Tri-Race Series at
Sunrise Valley Racewa y featured excellent racing in many cla sses, but the OTMX featured
some of the close st racing in the 100. degree
heat of the California high desert, and one of the
mos t dominant old -timers was Keith Phillips.
In the opening 01MX Expert moto, Phillips
pulled a holeshot that left everyone wo ndering
if the pla stic " Road runn er" attached to Phillips
front fender was something more than deco ration. As Phillips led the pack of Experts a roun d
