Herndon LOCAN, OH, JULY 30 ickey Dent of the Ge rencer Pro Hill Clim b Team utilized only one blast up the Greasy Ridge Hill to set the time of the day tha t no one could match, th us securing his second 800cc Pro hillclimb win of the year. On the other hand, Scott Everett returned to winning form with a flawless ride on his second run in the 540cc division. Held under the lights, the Greasy Ridge Hill lived up to its name, providing slippery conditions due to morning rains. The 260-foot hill proved to be quite the challenge due to a mushy bot- M tom and tacky top. Greg Williams, winner of the previo us round in New York, said before the event, "I think bikes are go ing to have a tough time getting through the first part; if you can get through that, the rest of the hill looks pretty good." . An estimated 4200 people filled the grounds before the first rider, William Hislop, gave it his best shot at the hill just before sunset.
