Pro-Am class with a second-place finish.
In the Pro-Am di visio n, it was Paul Kops
who created the du st. Kops blasted out of the
hole from the get-go with only the stopwa tch for
competition. Gerencer ass umed second place by
lap two, but Kops was so far ahead there was
nothing for Ge rencer to do bu t calc ula te the
price per gallon of Michigan gas and figu re if
second-place money wo ul d pa y fo r th e trip
home.
