At the 250cc MX GP opener in Spain th is March, the Belgian Kawasaki ride r broke twice, but since then he can do no wrong. He won both motos of the Dutch W GP, has dominated the prestigious Easter Trophy rac es and the Belgian Na tio n a l Championship opener, and he took another GP double at Monte varch i in Italy to move to within six points of the champ ionship p oints lead amazing, co n si d erin g his zero-point tota l on the openingdayoftheoun~~ Even defending champion Greg Albertyn had no answer to Everts at the Italian track, but second overa ll was enough to move him back to the head of the table, as previous leader Donny Schm it, in company with other genuine outdoor motocrossers like Kurt Nicoll, Mamicq Bervoets a nd Tram pas Parker, was res tric ted to lower leaderboard placings.
