close that first p lace was still up for grabs, but
Aguilar was determined 10 ho ld off the charging
racers . It looked like the finishing order was set.
but as the riders exited tum fo ur. McDowell
worked his way inside of Sanchez, causing
Sanchez to slide off the groove and crash on the
hillside. This brought out the red/checkered
flags with Aguilar posting Ihe win. McDowell
was second and Damron third. Sanchez wa s
shaken.but not hurt.
Action in the lOOcc B class was headed up by
Aaron Cisco who pulled off a w in over last
week 's winner, Dominic DeMario. Cisco led the
eight-rider main event from starl to finish with
DeMario keeping the heat on all the way . The
two riders were evenly matched in horsepower
as they dueled down th e stra igh ta w ays, but
Cisco made no mistakes for De Mario to take
advantage of and motored on to lake the win.
Racing in the 100cc C class to a runaway win
wa s Tony Meiring with second p lace goi ng to
David Morgan, who had to work his way up
after sufferi ng a bad start. The th ird and final
trop hy spot went to Rhond a Cruse.
