On Easter Sunday, when other kids wer e searching for painted eggs, the Californi a Mini Motorcycle Club (CMM C) m embers were enjo yi ng

Nelso n h ad little trouble co n qu e ri ng the
12See Stock (16-21) class, but found the 125 and

too k over th e lead with John Emerson seco nd .
Nelson had remounted in fou rth a nd p u t in a
late charge to lake the runner-up spo t on the last
lap. In the seco nd moto, Nelson go t off th e line
first and wen t a ll the way for the win.
Tyler King holes hot the first 250cc intermedia te moto, and it too k Nelson three laps to find
a way aro und King -an d rid e awa y to the w in. In
the second mo to, King aga in took the early lead,
but Nelson wa s able to stay on him like glue,
with th e m om en tu m of th ei r racin g a cti on
pulling the lead ers away from the oth ers. On the
fourth lap, Nelson stuck his fron t wh eel in a
tight right-hander and step ped ove r the ha nd leba rs . Kin g said good- bye a nd rod e o n to the
checkered, whi le Nelson qu ickly rem o un ted and
held second place.

go ld en "eggs" for his holida y effort. Tarantino
won the 80ce Expert an d Supermini classes in
conv incing fas hion. Ryan Beat managed to dominate the Beginner track for his Easter goodies,
