Dowd and Scott Sheak. Ferry was a distant second on lap two, and began stalkingCurry.
" I got nervous while I was leading,
and I started getting stomach cram ps,"
said Curry. " I would much rather chase
than lead .n
.
Curry eventually got his wish; once
by, Ferry stayed up front all the way to
the finish.
Curry took the point for the first two
laps of moto two, but Ferry took over
for good on lap three. Ferry led Dowd,
Johnson, Curry and Vaillancourt across
the line.
"I got a' good start, but Dowd and
Johnson were up there with me and I
could n' t hold them off," Said Curry.
Kawasaki Tea m Green's Ricky
Carm ichael earned three close wins, the
mos t im p ressive coming in the 12Scc
(12-15) division, which he won aboard
an 80. "I started fifth in the first moto
and caught Shawn Perolio for second,
but Robbie Horton took the win," said
Carmichael.
Carmichael passed Horton to w in
mo to two and the o veral l. Horton
re bou nded with a 12Scc B class wi n,
while Pero lio made between-mote suspensio n adjus tments to top the 250cc B
division. Alan Andreu closed Earl May's
25+ A class points lead with a win.
