Fairgrounds . Blackwell stole the show in the
Mini Open and 80cc (9-11) classes, winning both
with 1-1 tallies.
Blackwell's toughest competition came in the
combined 80cc age grou p di vision w here he
fended off Malt Williams in the first moto and
came from behind 10 overtake him for the win in
the second molo.
Win number two came after totally demolishi ng a good-sized field of 80cc Open co ntestants. Blackw ell' s Honda was too much for the
field as he flew to 1-1 wi ns. bea tin g fellow
Honda rider [areld Logan in bo th co ntests by
large margins to cap the perfect sweep .
One of the evening's largest dasses was the
combined 60cc SeniorlJunior swapfest. Tyler
Fick got off the line fastest followed by Jason
Evans in the all-Kawasaki field . Fick flew in to
unco ntested wins in both molDS.

Ulven soared to a first-mota w in in the 250cc
class but encountered problems in the second
moto, allowing Don Bisceglia to pick up th e
overall win with 2-1 placings.
