KTM 250 open all the war. to third overall, six minutes behind his 250cc Pro
rival, Davis.
Ondas rode his own pace all the way
to fourth overall, John Flores' CRSOO
crossed the line in fifth, and Jim Gray's
leap-frog effort from the back of the
250cc pack paid off with a sixth-p lace
finish in his first KTM-mounted effort.
Scot Harden took top honors in the
Over-30 Pro d ivision with a ru naway
win in seventh overall ; Krause completed the course in eighth; the Folks brothers, Bryan and Daryl, duked it out for
n inth in th e overall standings; and
Destry Abbott poured water on his overheated brakes all the way to 11th overall .
"When Abbott caught me, that was
the last straw for me," said KTM250cc
racer Bryan Folks, who was passed five
miles from the finish but still finished
two places ahead of Abbott on adjusted
time.
Jarrod Wheeler tipp ed over a couple
of times on his wa y to the top of the
Expert d ivis ion in 13th over all, and
Steve Tichenor's RMl25 wrapped up the
125cc Pro class 16 pl aces a head of its
nearest quarter-liter competition in 18th
overall.
