who di d n't hea r Phil Lemere's Honda
behind h im , got a s u r p ri s e when
Lemere touched his rear tire as they
carne to the scoring lanes at the finish.
Al Hejlek led the Senior A class for two
laps and the n had to pi t and change a
rear fla t tire on his Kawasaki. All he
had was a Ho nda rear wheel, so he
adjusted it to fit his ATK and rode tw o
more laps in working his way back to
finish seco nd to Yam aha -m oun ted
Ch arles Thi ele.
O verall B winner Chris Nesbitt ha d
his Kawasa ki ou t fro n t in the 250cc B
class from sta rt to finish. He rounded
out the top 20 overall . Kawasak i-mounted Jason Counts battled Tod d Reed and
his Yam aha a nd ca me away w ith the
200cc B nu mber-one trop hy and his first
win of the seaso n. Robb ie Reed and Dan
Johnson d iced on a pair of KTMs for the
Open tro phy. Johnson eventually fell on
the last straightaway and suffered a possi ble broken wrist. Ree d hung' on to
score the class win.
