this year, and unfortunately none of
those went to Ameri can riders. Even Silver medals were hard to come by. Just

Dav is also earned the unofficial title

the 37 .U.S. riders, and he was also the
top Ll.S. class finish er, placing sixth in
the SOOcc cla ss and 21s t overall. The
next-best U.S. class finisher was Hoess,
who was eighth in the 125cc class.
