joined for 1994 will feature major sponsorship by Silkolene lubricants and JHK,
a Dutch manufacturer of p refabricated
ind ustrial roof structures. The team will
include Belgian Everts and Swede Joakim
Ka rl sso n, and will be based in Grea t
Britain, though Everts and Karlsson will
each co mpe te in th e Nati ona l
Champio nships of their native countries.
Brit Alec Wright will manage the team,
and Dutchman Jan de Groot, formerly
the team manager for South African Greg
Alberty n, will be in charge of tuning and
technical coordination. Everts will remain
on Team Bieffe un til December 31, after
which Albertyn will take his place on the
Sy lvai n Ge boe rs-run Be lg ian Su zu ki
team.

0'1 Robert Rasor, AMA vice president of government relations. "In years of trying, p ropoN nents of the Californ ia Desert Protection Act have never succeeded in bringing the bill
