Soares taking the win over Robert Roehlk, wh o
had to battle with Manny Fernand ez all day.
Roehlk holeshot into the lead in mot o two and
looked like he wou ld ru n away with it for about
three laps, but Vet Novice rider Kevin McCarth y
took over the lead followed by Richard Fajardo
putting Roehlk in third for the moto and second
Vet Beginner.

Regiona l 125cc Supercross Cha mpionship, continued his victorio us ways by capturing all three
Pro classes at E&M's 10th an nual Supercross
Sta te Cha mpions h ip in the Islan d Grove Park
Arena.
In the 125cc Pro main event Gaddis' slow
start made for tons of excitement as he ha d to
work through Colorado's bes t riders. When the
ga te d ropped Andy Atki ns grabbed the lead .
Brian Deega n, Shaun Morga, James Eickel an d
Shaun Mo rga n all p ur sued . At the end of the
first lap Morgan squeeze d by Morga an d Bickel
for th ird. Ga d dis b ro ke into th e top 10 and
passed Jos h Kellogg and Keith Campbell. His
next victim was Robby Clauss in the who ops.
Up fron t, Deega n p ressu red Atki ns, and whe n
Atkins bobbled, Deegan passed for the lead and
stretched it ou t. Eicke l's consistent ridi ng was
not enough to hold o ff Gadd is as he dropped
into fou rth : The Morg an-Atkins bat tle was still
raging when Gaddis stu ffed Morgan then boxed
ou t Atki ns who fought back befo re rele nti ng .
Time was runni ng out , bu t with two laps left
Gaddis put the move on Deegan and motored to
victory.
Morga n stole the sta r t of the 250cc ma in
even t with Gaddis, Kellog and Kip Sand ell on
the attack. Atkins and Campbell picked it up to
challenge. Gaddis' ea rly pass set him free no t to
be seen again. Sande ll passed Kellogg for third.
Morga was fift h followed by Clauss, Atki ns ,
[ero my Bueh l and Deega n.
Th e Open Pro s tart went to Morgan with
Sand ell, Gaddis, Deegan, Clau ss and Atkins in
p ursui t. Gaddis clipped Morgan's fro n t wheel
and styled to his third win of the nigh t. Morgan
battled wi th San d ell b ut kept seco nd ove ra ll.
