Both riders had a fro n t-row v ie w of the Bu tch Cochran/Da nny Davies Expert-class battle up front; Cochran carne out on top of tha t class. Following the foursome were Gerald Roger s, Harley-Davidso n rider Marsh Runyon and BSA jockey Steve Hea ney, fifth with 3-5 placings .
