My family and I were at Devil's Bowl Sp eedw a y in Dallas fo r the Jun e 19 AMA Grand Nationa l Championship Half Mile. Unfortunately it was rai ned out and postponed u nt il August 14. Following th e anno uncement of th e postponement, we w ere happy to see that Ricky Graham's crew and his transport rig w ere still in the parking lot. In hopes of gettin g a picture of our son and Ricky together , we stop ped and asked Ricky's crew if w e could po ssibly get a few pictures of him. To our su rp rise, Ricky go t out of his motorhome and was rea l obliging . He stood with our son in front of his trailer, ho lding a "G o Ricky " sign w e had made. Ricky wa s so nice , he eve n gave our son an autographed picture of himself . Ricky d id get a kick out o f o u r s o n 's nam e - Ra ce Da vis . W e hope that one d a y Race will be a flat tracke r, and mayb e he will be a Grand Na tional Champion like his new found frien d, Ricky Graha m. Our only reg ret is tha t my h usband, Rand all, did not ge t his picture ta ken wi th Ricky or his own au tograph. Thanks again, Ricky, and good luck.
