It was a do-or-die weekend for hundreds of am a teur motocrosse rs with hopes of traveling to Ten nessee for the Natio nal Championships, while ju st d own the road in Milwaukee, th e ma sses ce leb ra ted the muchanti cipated 90th ann iversary of HarleyDavidson production. Kann won the firs t tw o motos so so u nd ly that in the final moto she let the field take a 30second advantage at the start. She still won by abo ut a minute. As if that wasn 't enough, sh e also collected second ove rall in a 12Scc Ble Support class, pre ssuring winner Shawn Tilden the entire distance of the second mota. Some of the best action of the weekend came during the Mini-class motos. Chris Considine took the earl y lead of the flrst85cc Stock (12-13) moto, followed closely by Nicholas Weyand Justin Guthrie. Wey worked by Considine on the seco nd lap as the three pulled away from the field . Although Guthrie remained close to Considine for the remainder of the race, he couldn't complete the pass and had to settle for th ird, while Wey took the dominant win. Th e fina l tw o motos were more of the sa me, with Wey pulling aw a y and Considine and Guthrie providing the excitement with close racing to the finish . Wey may have made it look eas y in the Stock. class, but it was another story in the Modified division. Rand y Valade led the fir st lap of moto one with Daniel Lariviere and Joshua yYoods in tow, Cons idi ne in fifth and Wey no wh ere to be se en , It didn 't rema in th is w a y long . Both Considine and Wey were on the gas and making up g ro und, By the third la p, Co ns idine ha d work ed up to th ird behind Lariviere and Wey was charging in the sixth position. On the white flag lap , Wey came a round chasing Con sidine for the second spo t, both hoping to catch the flying Valade. But time ran out, and Valade took the wi n with Cons id ine doing a ll he co u ld to keep an aggressive Wey behind him at the end . Considi ne grabbed the holes hot of the next moto a head of Lar iviere, Wey , Clint Bowyer, and Valade. By the time Wey could get aro und Lariv iere, Considine had put some dis tance on th em . Lap a fte r la p , Wey wo u ld gai n some g rou nd , bu t time was ru nnin g ou t agai n. As before, Wey ca ug ht Co ns idi ne on the last lap, but again Considine held back his a ttacks for the win. Valade wo rked up to take third, The third moto began with Cons idine taking another holeshot ahead of Lariviere an d Wey, A h igh ly motiv a ted Wey qu ickly d isplaced Lariviere and reeled. in Considine by the seco nd lap. On lap three, it appeared that Wey 's problems of coming u p ju st a li tt le sh o rt against Cons idine had changed as he shot by him in the triples. Wey got to enjoy a few laps in the lead before his luck turned sou r, and he too k a sp ill on the last lap, Considine motored by for the win a nd the overall , followed by Guthrie and Valade.
