horsepower and we should be able to get
150 hp easily," Schlosser said.
Lynch was in the Two Brothers' saddle
when Stroud caught him up and found he
rould no longer control the pace.
"When Stroud came on me I tried to
go as slow as Eossible because of the
rain. When he p~ me I was trying to
keep the same distance to reel him back
in, but it didn't work:' Lynch said. "Our
Honda had too much power and we
didn't have the setup."
Fastline/MCM had the setup, but
they wished they had their new bikes.
"The plan was to have the three 93s
here:' team captain Jeff Stern said. "One
of them's 95% done and another has the
motor out of the chassis." Stern also said
that new displacement rules in the GTIJ
class that allow a 2mm overbore would
boost the displacement on his Suzuki
GSXR600 to 640ccs. "If we get that kind
of displacement we can run it in either
elas.s. It's possible a 640 might not be bad
here," Stern said.
