Pasco County MX win to Yoho By Kyle Myers DADE CllY, FL, MAR 13 Over 100 riders bcaved the cold weather and high winds in the aftermath of the tornadoes tha t rocked Florida to com pete in the second round of the Dade City Point Series, held at the Pasco County Fairgrounds. Kenny Yoho smoked to both moto wins in the Open Money class to take home the lion's share of the purse. Canadian Bill Wallin grabed the holeshot at the start of the first moto with Dave Roadone, Yoho and Gen Pearson following. Yoho quickly displaced Roadone and began to close on Wallin. Wallin and Yoho battled furiously and pulled well clear of the rest of the field. Yoho hounded Wallin and shadowed his every move until Wallin bobbled in a tum and handed the lead to Yoho. Yoho opened up a two-second lead and went on to win ahead of Wallin, Pearson and Roodone. Pearson started moto two with a bang by grabbing the holeshot and leading Wallin, Yoho and Roadone through tum one. Pearson bobbled in tum two and allowed the entire field to shoot by. Wallin and Yoho motored into the top two spots and again pulled away from the rest of the field. At the halfway point of the race, Yoho dove underneath Wallin to take over the lead. With that, Yoho pulled away with the win aboard his SKY/ AXO/Oakley/Pro Action/Dunlop/No Limit/FMF/Barr's/RenthaJ/N-Style/Drawing Board-sponsored Suzuki RMI2S. Wallin was second, ahead of Pearson and Roadone. Anthony Pocorobba won the Schoolboy and 1&-24 year-old classes with ease. MAR 14 J Kawasaki Team Green rider George Waller, Jr. scored the overall win by one slim point over fellow Kawasaki rider David Bragg at the 13th Annual Great Piney Woods Enduro. The Louisiana Trail Riders Association hosted the event in the Vernon District of the Kisatchie National Forest, and the enduro was the second round of the Southern Enduro Riders Association's, Black-Jack and Sabine Enduro Circuits. This diversity of available points attracted more than 300 entries from 11 states. Perhaps the toughest part of this event was the drive across Alabama and Mississippi through the late freak winter storm that brought blizzard conditions to the deep south. Many of the north Mississippi and Alabama riders were snowbound and could not attend the enduro.
