the inside," explained Bogard.
Bogard led from start to finish, and
Erick Vallejo finished as the runner-up.
Carmichael passed his way up to sixth
position by moto's end.

Carmichael fared better in moto two,
snaring. the holeshot and never looking
back. Bogard had a mediocre start, but
worked up to second place, where he
finished for the overall win. Vallejo was
third for second overall, and Carmichael
was third overall.
"I haven't been getting along that
great with Charley, and I had to show
him who's best," said Carmichael, who
felt that Bogard had caused his firstmoto get-off. "He rides good here,
though."
