·. ..... e e ... . • Toyota Grand Prix ofLaguna Seca . AMA National Road Racing Series . . . APRIL 16, 17, 18, 1993 round and Kerry Jones in the second. Kerry eventually earned second overall and Wood third. Postlewaite and Ron Jones made abrupt contact in the woods and Wirehead settled for a second-moto fifth, while Postlewaite did not finish. Ron Jones and Postlewaite traded moto wins in the 30+ A class, but Bigelow's consistent 2-2 finishes gave him the overall victory. Postlewaite jammed out the front early in the first moto and forced Bigelow to work past him from second. But Bigelow fell shortly thereafter and was abruptly demoted back fo second, and Postlewaite steamed on for the win. Kerry Jones took the early lead in the second moto ahead of Wirehead, Postlewaite, Larry Harrison, Joel Baker and Bigelow. But it would be Postlewaite's moto, as he labored to the front to score the win over Bigelow. Postlewaite eventually settled for third, just ahead of Mark Guy and Kerry Jones. J.D. Collins ruled the first Schoolboy moto by leading from start to finish, but the second moto was a completely different story. Scott Graves nailed the holeshot but glued to his rear fender was Collins. However, while battling side by side, the pair bored down on a Schoolboy rider on an 80cc motorcycle who had mistakenly started with the Open class riders in the staggered-start format. Trying to avoid plowing into the 80cc racer, both Graves and Collins went down. Collins remounted first, but Graves wasn't far behind. The fight came down to the last lap when Graves passed Collins and scored the moto win and overall victory.
