The tie-breaking second moto saw Adam nail the holeshot and lead from start to finish to earn the overall victory. In the first 12Scc Intermediate moto, Fluker blasted .into the lead ahead of Tony Pybus. With Pybus close on Fluker's rear fender, the two Kawasaki riders disappeared into the off-camber drop-off with Pybus re-emerging in the lead. Fluker had crashed when his rear end washed out in the deep soil. Though Fluker quickly remounted and began charging, Pybus was able to hold his lead to the finish. In the second moto, which was combined with the 125cc Novice class, Fluker, again! grabbed the holeshot, while Pybus had to fight his way around Novice leader Jason Ennis. Once around Ennis, Pybus set his sights on Fluker and was able to pass him in lap two. The two front-runners swapped positions severa] times, Ennis finally pulled ahead by a wheel until his front wheel hit a hole tossing Ennis and his bike right in Fluker's line, Both riders went down and Joseph Furr motored around.to take the lead. Fluker was able to restart his bike first and took off slowly only to exit the track and come back around to make sure Ennis was okay. Ennis was uninjured but was hampered by a broken dutch perch and lever. Fluker ended up with a broken shift shaft. Both riders limped around to finish the race. .Ennis having had to push his bike across the finish line after all his gas had leaked out from a handlebar-shaped hole in his gas tank.
