Action was hot in the 60cc cJass. as 10 riders launched off the long start and made their way around the tough track. Josh Carter and Oinlon Pardick battled hard, with Carler winning the first molo. I'ardick came back to win mota two, giving him the win. In the ().8 class, Jimmy Nelson look the honors, making il look easy in the 'deep sand with a 1-1 finish. Dustin Osbom turned in a pair of thirds to take second place after an unfortunate crash eliminated Richard Duncan in molo one. Results Nason nails Fernley MX By Joan Tieamey 60: 1. Consistency paid off for Randy Lewis, as he took the overall honors in a large Vel Novice class without winning a mota. Curt James controlled the first couple of laps of moto one before going down and handing the lead 10 Bill Kolkman. Kolkman cruised out front, while Lewis worked through the pack to challenge for the lead towards the end of the mota. At the finish line, it was Kolkman just inches ahead of Lewis. with James recovering to earn third. Ed Eckert holeshot moto two ahead of Kolkman, Joseph Billings and Leo Saul. Lewis was next to last after one lap. Kolkman learned Eckert's lines for a couple of laps before making his move into the lead. Saul displaced Eckert to third place and a lap later passed ICoIJcman for the lead, where he would stay until the finish. Lewis was the fastest rider on the track. picking off two riders a lap. With the white flag out, Lewis moved into the second spol, which was good enough for the overall win. lCoIkman's 1-3 finishes gave him second place ahead of Saul Results on......,..
