At
Daytona,
the
more than proved its
won the
Suzuki GSX-R7S0W
prowess when
Britt
Turkington
750 Supersport race.
Starting from the pole position, Turkington led the race from
start to finish
on the new
liquid-cooled
GSX-R.
•
But finishing first was just the beginning.
Turkington also set a new lap record.
Quieting some pundits who had labeled the bike slow and heavy.
But Turkington wasn't alone in his victory.
On his first factory ride ever, another Team Suzuki rider - Gerald Rothman Jr.. came in third.
Of course,
while both riders put the competition firmly in their place,
it's Suzuki's hands-down first place victory that proves,
once again, when the GSX·R is compared to the competition,
there simply is no comparison.
