Center/Maxima/Petersson Pro Sus-pension/MMF/Pro Prept/Koller's Kolorsbacked Suzuki, while Staufenbeil crossed the finish line in pain for second. Wright, Tilton and Lars Larsson completed the top five. Josh Tarantino cleaned house in the 85cc 12-13 class with a pair of moto wins. Tarantino set the pace from the get-go in moto one and completed the race with a high-flying clicker over the finish-line jump. Jiri Dostal, Danny Carlson, Jerry Aleman and Terrance Malan finished second through fifth, respectively, well behind Tarantino. The second molo was full of pushing and shoving between Dostal and Sean Conley. While they were slamming together, Tarantino effortlessly slipped past and into the lead again. Dostal finally freed himself of Conley's grip and began to pressure Tarantino, but Tarantino responded by gassing it harder and pulling away for the win.
