McGrath is also on pace to break Bradshaw's single-5eason record of nine wins, which was set last year. McGrath is already almost halfway there with 10 rounds remaining in the 16-round series. For winning, McGrath collected $5000 from the $35,000 250cc class purse, while Bradshaw took home $3500 for second. In the IS-lap Eastern Regional 125cc Supercross Series feature, DGY Racing's Chad Pederson recorded his first win of the season by leading from start to finish. Pederson, from Fort Dodge, Iowa, was never challenged and took the checkered flag approximately four seconds ahead of runner-up Doug Henry, a factory-backed Honda rider. Rounding out the top three after a midpack start was Team Suzuki's Ezra e Lusk. Despite finishing second, Henry maintains his series points lead over Lusk, 64-61, while Pederson is close behind in third with 58. Pederson pocketed $2000 from the $10,000 125cc class purse; Henry earned $1000 for second. This year's Tampa Stadium track w as extremely tight, slick and hardpacked; blue grooves could be seen in many places and some riders said racing on the Florida clay was like riding on concrete. The track featured many turns and an assortment of double, triple and table top jumps; there weren't any traditionally long whoop sections, but there was a challenging sandpit. With his fourth consecutive victory, rookie sensation Jeremy McGrath extended his series points lead to 28.
