respectively, at the finish. ,Ingrande dropped well off the pace. The second moto saw Linkogle squirt out front and set the pace. Linkogle pulled out a lO-second lead while Jeff Willoh, Tyler King and Schnell argued over second. Schnell gained the upper hand in that battle by the fourth lap and set out after Linkogle. Schnell gained two seconds per lap until he reeled in Linkogle and then with three laps to go, he planted it low in a tum and roosted past Linkogle and into the lead. "He passed me like I was standing still," said Linkogle. Schnell motored away with the moto and overall wins, ahead of Linkogle and King. Cale Wallace got the new season off to a fresh start by blowing away the competition in the Pee Wee Stock class. After being plagued by numerous mechanical problems in the past, Wallace showed up at Anaheim with a fine-tuned scoot and put his mechanical woes behind him. In the opening moto, Wallace worked his way past Shane Smith 'and Nick Alvarez to take over the lead. Wallace rode strong and held off a late-race charge from Robert Harold to score the win. Smith settled into third in front of Joe Anderson and Dane Patao. Wallace and Smith waged an all-out war in the second moto, but when the dust settled it was Wallace who prevailed for the moto and overall wins. Smith was second, only inches behind, while Chris Nitlan, Harold and Patao rounded out the top five. ~ LIMA·.. >· home of the ._~ L-~_~'_ 883 lYational Sat. June 26th e 8 p.m. .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
