the finish-line jump, but came up short
and crashed again. Then Ferry got hung
up in a rut, allowing Shue to'slip into the
lead, but Shue bobbled over a jump and
Ferry secured the front spot for good.
Treadwell was second and Curry was
third. Neese's fall again kept him out of
the top positions at the finish. Suffering
from a bruised thigh, round-one winner
Plotts faded and finished back in the
pack.

Sidi/No Limit-backed Ferry scored the
overall win ahead of Treadwell, Curry
and Vaillancourt "Treadwell was'running really weJI," said Ferry. "1 wanted
to get by him to save my tear-offs, but he
didn't cut me any slack."
Jeff Frisz led the 250cc Pro class a t the
start of moto one, but he soon began to
tire. After Frisz crashed and bent his
brake lever, Brian McElroy and Fred
Andrews were left to fight over the lead.
Ferry had suffered a poor start, and he
began a charge through the pack.
The skirmish between McElroy and
Andrews continued until Andrews got
stuck behind a stalled'lapper, and
McElroy cruised unchallenged to the
win. Andrews salvaged the runner-up
spot, and Ferry worked his way up to
third place by the finish.

that they fell down on my nose, but I
really needed them."
In moto two, the pack quickly began
to string out over the deeply-rutted
track. Ferry managed to take the lead at
the halfway mark, with Treadwell and
Andrews battling for second position.
Ferry posted the moto win, and
Treadwell put Andrews away for second
place at the checkers.
"1 worked hard to pass Treadwell,
because I thought he was the leader,"
said Andrews. "1 don't have a pit board
guy, so I wasn't sure what was going
on."
Ferry again got the overall, and
Andrews' consistency earned him second place. After a first-moto win,
McElroy slipped to fourth place in moto
two and third place overalL
In the Vet Pro class, most spectators
figured that the race would come down
to Alan Andreu, Kevin Foley, Ross
Pederson, Ricky Palmer and Don Grahn.
Andreu and Foley proved them right
by bolting to the front of the pack in the
early going of moto one, but Pederson
passed Foley and began to chase the
leading Andreau. Time ran out, though,
and Andreau collected the moto win
ahead of Pederson.
"Ross was gaining ground," said

Andreu. "[t was a matter of not making
any mistakes in that slop, and I was
lucky to hang on for the win."
Foley and Palmer were in the hunt in
moto two, but Andreau and Pederson
again filled the top two positions at the
finish.
Jim Neese attempted to avenge his
disappointment in the Pro classes by racing in both the 125 and 250cc A divisions, and the Team Green rider survived an eight-moto day to nab the
overall wins in both classes. His wins
didn't come easy, however, as Greg
Rand was a factor in both 125cc motos
until an old wrist injury slowed his pace.
Earl May won the first 250cc moto, but
Neese's win in the second outing was
good enough for the overall.
Bubba Stewart saw his longtime win
streak in the Pee Wee class come to an
end when Brian Gray secured the overall
victory. Stewart won the first moto, but
Aaron Lindsay (29) pulled the holeshot ahead of Tyson Hadsell (264), Darin Fortin (22) and Josh Faustino (214) in the 65cc (7-11) class.
went down in moto two. Jason Woods
took over the lead spot, but Gray passed
him for the win.
Aaron Lindsay overcame lapped traffic on a special small track to sweep the
65cc (7-11) division, and maintain his
lead in the point standings.
Travis Pasatrano led Matt Walker in
both 85cc (7-11) outings, but smoked his
clutch both times, leaving Walker to
grab an easy win.
Ricky Carmichael won the 85cc (1213) class, and said, "Robbie Skaggs and I
took turns falling out there. It was
close." Carmichael then haa to catch
Pinson in the final Super Mini moto to
claim his second class win.
Jarrett Tipping avenged a loss to
Travis Langston in the first moto of the
85cc (14-15) competition, passing Scott
Pinson and Langston to win moto two
and wrap up the overall.
Cindy Cole, who recently moved to
Florida to attend junior college, extended
her series domination in the Women's
class to four-straight moto wins.
Ryan Reynolds and Matt Maximoff
split moto wins in the 16-24 Youth division. After finishing seCond in moto one,
Maximoff had to work hard to erase
Reynolds' moto-two lead, winning the
moto for the overall trophy.
Paul Currie upset Kevin Windham
for the overall win in the l2Sec B class.
Lonny Bishoff also finished ahead of
Windham to place a secure second.
Windham reboundetl, however, sweeping both motos in the l2Scc (12-15) competition.
Richie Horton, who has been in contention in the 250cc B class, finally
topped Robbie Skaggs, Nathan Ramsey
and Windham for his first overall victory of the series. Robert Phillips over. came an ailing clutch to win the 500cc B
class.
Kevin Foley topped arch-rivals Ricky
Palmer, Ross Pederson and Fred
Andrews to win both the Plus-25 A and
Plus-30 A classes. "Andrews gave me a
reaJIy good race in the first Plus-25 A
moto," said Foley. "We had a good time
on that sloppy track."
Former National Endurance Road
Race Champion John Choate won the
Plus-25 B class, and Jason Dodds topped
the l2Sec C division.
Having just recently returned from
his honeymoon, Robin Grey won the
Plus-3D B division and finished second
to Plus-35 class winner Don Grahn.
Steve Lewis and Gary Peak each
won a moto in the Plus-40 competition,
with Lewis' 2-1 score earning him the
overall.
