Grant, who resides in the Seatt le a rea, won th e over 40 class and doesn 't look to hav e lost a ny o f the speed that he utilized in the ea rly 70's whi le winning Trans-AMA Support class mot os, " I bumped into G rant a t a shop p ing m all ," exp la ined Mur p h y, who himself is a n organizer of th e event, " so [ invi ted h im o ut to do so me racin g. It's kind of fu n ny when yo u ru n into so meo ne tha t you haven 't seen for 20 years . Jim Pomeroy elected not to ride, .. w hile brother Ron gave Murphy fits in th e 500cc cla ss, chas ing h im tothe finis h, despi te no t ha ving com pe ted for man y years .
