Sassama n had ta ken the 250<:c J\c lass, as he did in the season-openin g sho rt :track two weeks previous, while Dillon Ca va , L uke Zechman , Scott Morrison and Jake f ohnso n also repeated their wins in th e 250cc B, Senior 40+, 55cc Modified a nd 65cc classes, respec tivel y. After taking the hea t, Varnes loo ked like /!>e odds·on favori te in the 250cc A fina l, but lin the o fficial sta rt . Miller made the most of the lapped tra ffic in the lau er stages to tak e over second and first in clas s on.the sixth lap. A few races later, Winsett agai n, Jed the class into th e first tu rn , thi s time the co mbine d 200ccA/B, wit h th e only A ri der, Bill Bromley, second, foll owed by Chad H ackman, SCOll Led better a nd Mark Keslick. On th e third lap, Winsell drifted a Iittl e high, letting Bro mley tak e the lead. After hauling with Hackman for severa l laps, Hackm an took over first in class on the SIxth lap. Dillon Cava had a fairly easy tim e win ni ng the 250!Oc B final, taking th e lead a t th e start from R:oy Miller , Robert Bill s a nd Troy Witm er . Miller a nd Bill s battled for seco nd in the middle part o f the race, with Bill s slip p ing under Mill er for seco nd as th ey en tered the th ird turn on the last lap .
