The top riders either clea ned or sco red o nes in the first sectio n, but the second hazard was impossi ble to clear witho ut a five-point maximum score and the next few section s in the woods proved to be nearl y as hard, sin ce tractio n was difficu lt' to find o n mud-covered rocks. Sectio ns seven through II featured ma ny rocks bill weren 't impossible to pass .
