IN THE WIND P24 Monster Energy Cup Canceled I t comes as little surprise that there will be no Monster Energy Cup race this year, ac- cording to statement by the race's organiz- ers Feld Entertainment. This year's Monster Energy Cup was scheduled to take place at a new venue, Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, October 10. The release reads: Unfortunately, the Monster Energy Cup that had been scheduled for October 10 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA will not be feasible this year, due to other leagues starting their seasons and the difficulty of securing an appropriate location to host the event in the fall. In conjunction with the Monster Energy Cup, the 2020 Supercross Futures AMA National Cham- pionship will also be canceled. CN This year's Monster Energy Cup has been officially canceled. I nfront Moto Racing, the organizers of the FIM Motocross World Championship and Motocross of Nations (MXoN), announced today that this year MXoN has been officially canceled. The race was scheduled to take place in Great Britain at Matterley Basin, September 25-27. The AMA announced a week earlier it would not be sending a team this year. Infront Moto Racing issued this statement: Despite all the efforts from the local organizer (Steve Dixon) and Infront Moto Racing, there is no other viable option but to cancel the 2020 edition of MXoN due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With the MXGP of Winchester planned to be held together with the MXoN, this GP event will now take place on the 30th of September in Mantova as the MXGP of Città di Mantova featuring back-to-back MXGP races in Mantova, which will place on September 30 and October 4. CN Motocross of Nations Canceled The 2020 Motocross of Nations, which was scheduled to take place at Matterley Basin in Great Britain, has been canceled.
