ROAD RACING
FIM NORTH AMERICAN ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 3 / JULY 31-AUGUST 2, 2020
MICHELIN RACEWAY ROAD ATL ANTA / BRASELTON, GEORGIA
P54
Rocco Landers (1)
proved why he's
the current series
champion by dominating
proceedings in Atlanta
for the Junior Cup. The
Washington kid bested
Samuel Lochoff and
Dominic Doyle on both
occasions, and now
leads the series, 135
points to Doyle's 131.
Lochoff bumps up to
third with 90.
What's better than winning your first race? Winning two! That's what Corey Alexander (23) did at Road Atlanta to
take command of the Stock 1000 Championship. His job was made easier by the absence of round-one winner
PJ Jacobsen, who pulled out of the meeting with mechanical troubles. Alexander bested Suzuki's Cameron
Petersen and Alex Dumas in race one, with Dumas improving to second in race two ahead of the evergreen Geoff
May on his Kawasaki. Alexander now leads the series at 76 points to Petersen's 65 and Dumas' 58.
