Discarding the shredded rubber, Team Red Baron mounted old tires for Mo rr ison to ride in the Unli mi ted GP. From sta rt to fini sh . it was Morrison in front. At one poi n t in the race Mor rison led second-p lace T esch ke by more th an five seconds. Morriso n won the 18lap race and too k ho me $250 in AMA/ CCS money.
