Federi o started th e (irsl mot o in a threeway baule for the lead with Thomas Honzik and jeff P in kosh. Ho nzik had th e lead o ut of the uphill but d um ped it in a turn. Federi co gra bbed th e lead a nd j ason Co rzine moved up to foll o w in second with Pinkosh and Dennis Robinson in to w. L.1.'p o ne ended with Federico p ulling away fro m Corzine. who was close ly foll owed by Pinkosh. Things rema ined the same until th e lap wh ere Thomas Tka yz mad e his move o n Pinkosh a nd passed him fo r third. Federi co was a ll al o ne (or the win while Co rzin e scor ed second and Tka yz took th ird. Mo to two also sta rted with a banle for th e lead among Corzin e, Wesley Philips and Honzik. Corzine and Ph ilips tried 1 stay with 0 Honzik bu t at th e close of la p one' Hon zik was a ll alone in the lead. Federisco charged up to lak e o n Corzine (or seco nd place and the two went back a nd fort h with d iffere nt lines a nd close racing. Corzine did a fine job hold in g off Federico but Federico persis ted and passed Corzi ne for second. Honz ik too k the moto win but Federi co claimed th e overa ll victory with h is seco nd place finis h. In the 125cc Pro clas s, T uf Raci ng-backed . j ason Rivas sta rted mot a o ne in th e lead wit h Mike Mich els a nd j erry Seip tra iling. When they emerged fro m (h e woods Riva s was bein g chased by Keith Trocco l i. j im Mcil va ine, and Edw in Lyo ns. Rivas cra shed a nd TroccoI i took over first wit h Mcl lva in e chas ing in second . After remounting. R ivas charged a fter and pa ssed Mcl lva ine to ta ke seco nd, 'hen eventually pa ssed Troccoli to retak e the lead . Troccoli then was pr essured by Lyons. who took o ver second in th e closin g laps of the . race. Rivas took the win, Lyon s second a nd Troccoli thi rd.
