As rain began to fall, spectators traded their shorts for jackets and umbrellas. Eddie Mati Walker (27) topped Jessie Ballard (25) and August Lausberg (5) in the 65cc 7-11 year-old class. Ray (114), Adam Merrick (934) and Josh Latina (327) head the 125cc B class. The Women 's class standings seesawed again, with Cindy Col e topping Kim Sybert to rega in the class lead. Bet h Rewis, the 30-year -ol d in contentio n with teenagers, led both rn o to s before fini sh in g a clo se th ird. Rewis sai d, " Cindy and Kim are riding great. I was pleased to fin ish so clo se beh ind Kim." Rusty Sayres . wh o fini sh ed second beh ind Wynd ell Kern to take the lead in the 25+ B class. was fortunate to be able to compete after he had hi s bike sto len earlier in th e week . Sayre 's frie nd Murray Croft explai ned. " We were having lunch in Tampa when it was taken from the tra iler. " said Croft. "The police were no help, but some loca l kids tracked th e thieves down and we recovered it quickl y."
