In Sunday's Amateur even ts, T eam Green/Fox/Scot t/Bell-backed Robbie Reynard rode both th e 125cc Interrne. diate and I25cc (12-15) Amateur events smooth and flawless, to claim the wins. Joey Pratt and Reynard set the pace in the 125cc Interm ediate q ualifier . Pra tt he ld .a small lead until he slid out at the start of lap two . T hat gave Reynard firstwith Mik e KUTZ and Eric Edwards foll owing. Pratt quickly remounted, but Reynard won the heat. At the start of th e main, Reynard and KUTZ narrowly escaped a first-turn crash th at cla imed Pratt. By lap two Pratt had worked his way back to fifth , and a co up le of laps later he edged Fred Winston o ut of fourth place. Shawn Wright and KUTZ separated him from lea der Reyn a rd , b u t Pratt co u ld advance no furt her. Reynard cla ime d the win over KUTZ, Wri gh t and Pratt. In the 85cc Open mai n, J ake Mart in got the holeshot foll owed by Brad Wools ey and Kristy Shealy. Charley Bogard pa ssed Sheal y over the tri pies on the first lap as Woolsey kept th e pace with leader Martin . On lap th ree, Woolsey sli d out and Bogard flew into ' second. Martin fell in the wh oops, giving Bogard the lead with Woolsey unsu ccessfull y chasing hi m to the finish. Bogard also do mi nate d th e 85cc (12-13) class, wh ile J.W. Pa tton locked up th e 65cc (7-11) victory.
