Sheak and 'Ferry battled neck-and.neck in both 250cc motos, with Ferry emerging on top with a 2-1 tally . "Scotty (Sheak ) reall y set me up on the last lap lo wi n th e firs t mo to ,' said Ferry. " I held him off in the fina l moto. " Chaz Northey and J am es Stewart battled back and forth in th e Pee Wee class. The two rid ers sha red moto victo ries, but it wa s Northey claiming the overall win by way of the tiebreakin g second-mote victory. T here was plenty of actio n in the 80cc class, though the clos est race was in the 14-15 division, where Kevin Wi ndham , Ro bbie Skaggs, Ri tch ie Horton and J arret Tipping battled back and fort h.
