Joe Hofmann , of Co lorado Springs, Colorado, was kill ed in a motorcycling acciden t while trai l r id i n g with friends. J oe was 15 years of age and was a memb er of the Rocky Mountain Enduro Circu it (R MEC). He competed in the 250cc B cla ss. "We don't intend for thi s race to replace B-to-V, but we want to give racers some thi ng to do over th e Thanksgiving weekend."
