was no t to be, as th e scori ng was
reverted to th e previous lap, wh en th e
six-ho ur time had actu ally pa ssed. On
that lap, Rauseo was still pat iently
waiting beh ind Arclight, leavi ng h im
second in class.
As for the Hall ' N Sti ll Too/ Force
ra cing battle, things look ed grueso me
for th e Hall team, as they trail ed by
over 20 seco nds wh en th eir final pi t
sto p was completed, barely a half hour
remaining. Mi ke Reed was given the
ri di ng chores for Hall 'N Still sponsored by Widman Suzuki, SBS,
Dun lop, Zero Gr avity, Bieffe, and RES
- and he immedi ately began clicking
off o ne-m inu te, 20-second lap tim es,
brutall y fast for after five a nd a half
hours of raci ng . Reed would event ually get his sigh ts on For ce raci ng , and
- to Force's disma y - a pa ss wa s made
i nside of th e last five laps. Reed
fini shed eig ht seconds ahead of Fo rce.
Ru sh 'N Racing mad e a valiant last
ho ur dash, closing with in a lap of
Eh lerding, wh o took the class win .
In th e L igh tweight class, F&S Racing's Chris Sweeney, Matt Nowasiadl y
and Dean Hayes do minated th e en tire
day, runnin g as high as 12th overall,
and finish in g 14th o vera ll. The 129
Race Team's Matt Lakey, Russ Town send and Pat McGovern took second
Li ghtweight ho no rs, a feat hampered
by a slo w pit stops, the resu lt of vapor
lock when ever the bike dropped to low
