An estimated 12,000 of the faithful
gathered on Sept. 8th for the AMA
National Championship at
Heartland Park in Topeka. Kansas.
There they witnessed another
awe-inspiring performance byTeam
Muzzy'sScott Russell. Following
heavy rains, Scott glided over
water to win the 750cc Supersport
category. He thus remains
undefeated in the class this year
and with this victory clinches his'
second straight'75Occ Supersport
Championship. As if that weren't
enough, he followed that by leading
the muttitudes to victory in the
Superbike event. Bynow, it's pretty
obvious that any rider who thinks
he can catch up to Scott Russel~
hasn't got a prayer.
