McGrath held th e lead until late in the race wh en he surrendered the point position to Peak teamm at e Bri an Swink. " I wasn't sure how fas t of a pace to set," said McGrath. After taking over, Swink set the pace for th e remaining lap s a n d b eat McGrath to th e fini sh lin e by four seconds. After a battle with J eff Emig, Michael Craig cla imed thir d over Eri k Keh oe a n d Jimm y Gaddis. That gave Gaddis the lead , but McGrath passed him and mo tored away to a relatively easy win.
