t was the biggest spanking
of the year. But it wasn't Thomas
Stevens who was getting whooped. It
was the competition. And it all took
place in Lexington, Ohio.
Well, here's the story: After a
season full of seconds and thirds,
Stevens finally pulled off his first
AMA National Superbike victory of
his career. But wait a minute. T his
win was only the icing on the cake. It
was his consistent riding that blistered
the competition and made him top
dog in the first place. And he did it all
with the help of a Vance & Hines
Yamaha FZR750.
Now guys, you might think that
.
winning is everything.

But it's not. It's what we learn on the
track that counts. And you'll see it in
our '92 models that'll be coming to
your local dealers real soon.
And as for anyone who isn't riding
a Yamaha, here's some friendly advice:
You should keep a tu be of ointment
handy because Stevens is out there
waitin' to blister some more hides.
