o l Steve All an d Gary Wagner.
Mall Po losky won the 125cc Nov ice class
a fter ear ly race lead er J oey Cirocco crashed
in a series of jumps. Cirocco rem ounted and
chased do wn Pol oski lat e in the race, bu t
Pol oski responded by gass ing it harder and
pulling away for th e even tual win . Cirocco
settled [or seco nd in Iro m of Chad Cook.

ta llied a pair of seco nds for seco nd overall.

Feldhaus fabulous at Sturgis TT

McClelland out-braked Walkl in , and was abl e
to slide past. McClell and kept h is lead to win
the race. Feldhaus took second a nd jamie
Vollmer placed third.
The lar gest clas s of th e day was th e Over
50 Vintage main. Ph il Ray took a wire-towire victory. getting th e hol eshot and pu lling
a way throughout th e race. Lee Parker and AI
Nesshoefer provided the show, dueling for
second place. Parker held hi s ground to take
the number two spot a nd Nesshoefer was a
close th ird.
In the 250cc Vintage ma in, David Barkley
grabbed the ho leshot, o nly to be passed by
J ohnny Isaacs com ing o ut of turn o ne. Randy
Feldhau s also got pa st Barkley in turn two ,
wh ich set the stag e [or a wh eel-to-wheel
co nfro nta tio n between Isaacs and Feldhau s.
Feldhau s pUI pressur e on Isaacs. but was
unabl e to get past until lap eight , whe n he
passed Isaacs in th e switch backs. Feldhaus was
able to keep the lead [or o ne lap , until he
went high in the sweeper a nd a llowed Isaacs
to regai n th e lead. j ohn McClellan d, after a
poor start, worked hi s way through th e pack
to finis h th ird.

th e 500cc Vin tage mai n.
Feldhaus was under som e pressure fro m
J ohn Fike initiall y, bu t Feldhau s stayed in
cont rol and pulled away for the win. Fike
finished the race in second p lace wit h j effrey
Abel s placing th ird.

and Iverse n was third.
T he 250cc DTX class ra cin g was exciting,
with th e competitio n being very close. Bria n
And erson , in an aggressive move in the first
corne r , took th e lead with Aaro n Walklin a nd
Dan Feldha us clos e beh ind. Wh en And erso n
went hi gh in th e ·sweeper, Wa lkli n slipped
undern eath to tak e th e lead br iefly, on ly to
be repa ssed by Ande rso n in th e swi tchbacks.
In th e meantime, J ohn McCle lland po wered
past Feldhau s in th e sweeper to ta ke over th ird
positio n. On lap three, And erson o ver-coo ked
corner four, gi ving th e lead to Wa lkli n and
second to McCl ell and. McCl ell an d was unable
