Per ez recovered quickly but it was too late, as Aden had th e lead and was moving ou t. On lap seven. Aden got traction and wh eelied o n th e back ch ute. He got hi s front tire back down fast, bUI before he could scram ble back - to Ih e pole, Perez, Chris Man ch ester and Jessee Fin ch went by. When th e gate dr opped in th e first mOIO, Joel Den gler led Ezra Lu sk, SIeve Herman, Brian Carroll and SeOll Sh eak lhrough Ihe first turn. The positions remained unchanged for Ihe first five laps of the eight.lap molO, until Lusk sailed into the lead over the stepup jumps. Alt hough Dengler made repeated allempts 10 regain the lead, Lusk held o n for th e mo to win. Ro unding out the top five were Herman, Carroll and Sheak_ Herman shot out of the gate in Ihe second molO. with Kurt McMillen and Ty Wallace in lOW. Wallace swooped past McMillen o n th e first lap and set ' aft er Herman. Wa llace tried every trick in the book to overtake Herman, but came up sho rt al the checkered fla g. . Herman scored the moto and overall wins , a hea d of Carroll . McMillen and Wallace.
