Keith Turpin, mad e his return to racing after a four year layoff. In moto one Lance Newsome led T urpin and Bone through tum o ne. O n the second lap. T urpin dove inside Newsome and took over the lead Turpin motored to the win. w hile Bo ne fi nished second ahead of Ne wso me. M OLO two was a different story. as Bone powered to th e ear ly lead with Bria n Thorn ton at h is rear wheel. Bone was never challe nged. and won by a comforta ble margi n . Shane Sm ith motored past Quear. with Gary Semics ca mping on his rear wheel. Vines moved ahead of Maurice. and Sanies passed Sm i th. With two laps to go. Semies lost control of his Honda and ended up on the grou nd- Smith was unable to avoi d 'Sanies and also went down.
