Schlosser dedicated th e win to Haldane and extended grea t th a n ks to Kurt Hall, who personally invited and paid for the team's en try. Suzuki personnel stated that you can 't make any mistakes against Schlosser because he has a good team with an excellent track record. (No te: riders Tray Bately, Baldu s and Bo bb y Von Nessen spe nt th e entire race in fou rth pl ace). Jim Still added: "This track ca used the problems it always does. It 's hard to ride, and hard to set up for. You always worry when you come he re because so many th ings ca n go wrong."
