Class ic B. with 18 en tries. T he maj ority o f
th e rid ers were new to vintage trials . an d th e
lOp six pl aces were h otl y contested th rough out
th e day . Bu ltaco-mo umed Dan Acevedo led
after th e first loop with th ree marks. H e was
closely foll ow ed by J im i VanS ick le a t five
marks, an d Wassell -mounted R ichard Baulch
at six marks. VanSickle posted a clea n seco nd
loop to ta ke o ver [jrs t place and co n tin ued
to ea rn the da y's victory. After an II mark
first loop. Randy Sta ull posted th = marks
on th e seco nd loop to ad vance from sixth to
fourth pl ace. Sta uff's o ne mark third loop
moved h im in to a three-way tie for seco nd
place with Acevedo an d Baulch. A o ne mark
final loo p allowed Sta uff to Clinch seco nd
place for th e da y.
