Yama ha 's Da mon Bradsha w worked his way up from a poor sta rt to run with the top five riders unti l problems pl agued the 18-year-old from North Carol ina a nd dropped him back to 12th at the finis h. " I felt okay," said Bradsha w. " I had trouble getting around one pack of guys. I had probl ems with Mike Craig a nd they (the trac k personnel ) weren't doing a good job with the bl ue flags. And I guess about two la ps befor e the fin ish I had to take my. goggles off. After I d id that, I got hi t in the (left ) eye." The 125cc fina l was perhaps the best race of the day.
