T he Daytona 200 as often as not ends wit h a long shot laking the checkered flag first after prerace favorites dr op by the wayside. Bu t nevertheless, ' th ere are a lwa ys riders who are tabbed to win prior to the running of the race. Last year's winner, David Sadowski, has back problem s and wo n't compete this year. Chec k o ut th e qual ifyin g sessio ns on Wednesday and Thursday, but don't bet all your mon ey on the po le position ri der. Only II times has the po le position rider won in th e 49 runnings of the Daytona 200.
